RR Rotation Ready

For medical students

Know what you're walking into.

Short orientation courses for the rotations nobody prepares you for — written by physicians who actually practice the specialty. Watch before day one, so week one isn't spent working out where to stand.

What's next

In development

These aren't built yet — no sign-up, no waitlist theatre. They're listed so you know where this is going, and which one gets built next depends largely on what students ask for.

Surgery
The field, scrubbing, retracting, and what the team expects of you.
OB/GYN
Labour and delivery, the pace, and where a student is useful.
Emergency Medicine
Triage, the flow of a shift, and how to pick up a chart.
Internal Medicine
Rounds, notes, and presenting a patient without dread.
Pediatrics
Talking to families, and what changes when the patient is small.
Radiology
Reading room etiquette and how to actually look at a study.
Which rotation do you need?
Tell us the specialty and when you start. It genuinely decides the build order.

Why these exist

Orientation, not a textbook
You already have resources for the medicine. What's missing is the room: who's who, what happens when, and what a student is actually allowed to touch.
Written by someone who works there
Every course is authored by a physician practising that specialty, so the etiquette and the unwritten rules are right, not guessed.
Short on purpose
About twenty minutes, watchable the night before. Long enough to orient you, short enough that you'll actually finish it.

For clerkship directors and programs

Send it to a cohort before their block starts and get oriented students on day one instead of lost ones — with data you can put in a clerkship record.

  • Completion tracking per student
  • Quiz results and watch-through data
  • Pre/post confidence measurement
  • CSV export for your records
  • Completion certificates
  • No LMS integration required
